Dr. Whitney grew up on a horse farm in southwest Washington. She rode in open equitation and competed in professional rodeo, and saw firsthand what chiropractic care could do — for herself as a rider and for her horses. That experience shaped her career.
She earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic and her Master's in Sports Medicine at the University of Western States in 2015, and co-founded Move Better with Dr. Q a year later. Her clinical specialty is postpartum rehabilitation — a population still underserved by movement-based medicine — and she also works extensively with equestrian riders on rider-side biomechanics.
Whitney also practices animal chiropractic, but that work lives at her separate site, movebetteranimalchiro.com. The Move Better human clinic is where she sees riders, prenatal and postpartum patients, and athletes.
