Dr. Q has been working with patients for more than 17 years. He started in social services running therapeutic foster care, moved into personal training, and eventually realized his clients were already using fitness as medicine — they just didn't know it yet. That sent him to chiropractic school.

He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the University of Western States in 2015 and co-founded Move Better with Dr. Whitney a year later, starting in a garage. The clinic now has two locations and eight staff. His clinical focus is pain neurology and the cases other practitioners gave up on.

Outside the clinic, he runs (often barefoot), trains kettlebells and grip strength, and rolls Brazilian jiu-jitsu (blue belt). He has run 30 miles on his 30th birthday and 30 more during a hurricane.
