Portrait of Dr. Tyler Hoang

Dr. Tyler Hoang

Goes by Dr. Tyler.

Olympic weightlifting, athletes, exercise rehab.

Dr. Tyler was born and raised in Portland. He found Olympic weightlifting in college and never left — he coached his university team, competed nationally, and was named to Team USA's University World team in 2020. At University Nationals 2019 he took bronze in the snatch and gold in clean and jerk at 81 kg.

His own athletic injuries pulled him into chiropractic care, and from there into the deeper anatomy and movement work that became his career. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic at the University of Western States in 2024, alongside a B.S. in Human Biology, after a B.S. in Public Health Education from Portland State.

Outside the clinic, you'll find him bowling, sailing, shooting film photography, or hiking the PNW with his partner and dog.
