For the precious months of summer, he would be mountain biking and hiking. He has a BS in Exercise Physiology from Michigan State University where he was also on the rowing team. Following his undergraduate degree, he officiated professional hockey for 5 years before returning to school for his DC and MS in Sports Medicine from University of Western States.
